It's been 25 days since we last left our house, 27 days since the World Health Organization declared the Coronavirus Pandemic. On March 12, we decided that the best thing to do for our family was to bring everyone home and stay home regardless of work in the upcoming days. I am relieved to say that we made a wise decision. Both my husband and I have decided to work from home from our day jobs. I, particularly, insisted that I work from home due to my weak lungs and asthma. We self-monitored to ensure that we are all in good health and did not have any exposure to anyone who may have Covid-19. In the truest sense, and with an abundance of caution, we have practiced social and physical distancing. I also took an extra step and decided to close Unicorn Baby for the last 25 days.
As we are nearing almost a month into this pandemic, I see that the website still receives a lot of traffic. Some of you may be needing something from our store and so we are re-opening and accepting orders beginning today.
Please note that we are only an online store and are not available to walk-ins or the public. We are taking extra precautions with packaging your orders as well as ensuring proper sanitation in our work spaces. We always have and even more so now, as I am one heck of a germaphobe!
Our shipping procedure is also augmented to minimize exposure both to your packages, Canada Post employees, and ourselves. We will only be requesting NO CONTACT parcel pick ups from Canada Post once a week, on Tuesdays. Because of this, we cannot guarantee shipping time. However, all orders will still have a tracking number.
