Shipping Policy, Terms & Conditions

A. ORDER PROCESSING
Weekday orders are processed same day or up to 2 business days and orders received on weekends and holidays are processed on the next business day, up to 2 business days. We will package your products carefully and thoroughly. 
B. PACKAGING
In line with our sustainability principles we use, re-use, re-purpose and recycle shipping boxes and other packing items, always keeping in mind hygiene and sanitation first. Due to allergies or sensitivities, we do not to use cereal boxes or any food item packages/boxes. We ask that you re-purpose/recycle our shipping and packing items as well to prolong the lifecycle/use of these items before they end up in the recycling bin or landfill. Thank you! 
C. SHIPPING
  • All orders are shipped with Canada Post.
  • OVERSIZE ITEMS: You will be notified if surcharges apply to orders that otherwise qualify for free shipping, mainly for oversize items.
  • BULK ITEMS: Items that require parcel shipping will have qualifying conditions and will be stated in the page. Qualifying conditions are mainly threshold dollar values that allows us to offer you free shipping.
  • LETTERMAIL: For smaller orders (less than or equal to 500g), we ship via Letter Mail. A photo of your packaged order before shipping will be sent to the email you provided. Please note that this option has no tracking or insurance. You have the option to include tracking. However, you will be responsible for paying tracking fees. Please indicate or add this note when checking out. Otherwise we assume you don't require tracking. You accept the risk of this shipment type and Unicorn Baby is not liable for lost or undelivered Lettermail.
  • EXPEDITED PARCEL (Canada) and Tracked Packet (USA): Orders will be shipped via Expedited Parcel/Tracked Packet with tracking and insurance.
D. REFUND AND RETURNS
All Cloth diapers, the Cora Ball, and babywearing items are FINAL SALE due to their very personal usage and for hygiene reasons.
Other products can be returned up to 60 days from date of purchase. Customer will be issued a store credit for the returned items. All shipping costs for returns is the customer's responsibility. If we shipped the item/s being returned as parcel with tracking, you are to ship this returned product in the same manner. Products must arrive back at Unicorn Baby in same, unused and saleable condition in order to receive the store credit. Product tags and stickers must all be in tack in order to qualify for a store credit. Store credit will be issued upon our receipt of the returned products. The store credit will be the total amount originally paid by you.
If you prefer a refund, the cost of the original shipping and a 10% re-stocking fee will be deducted from the total amount refunded to you.
E. SALES, SPECIALS AND DISCOUNTS
From time to time, Unicorn Baby will OFFER sales, or give specials or discounts. These offers cannot be combined with other existing discounts. They also DO NOT APPLY to subscriptions. If for some reason, you need to return a product bought at sale price, Section D applies.
HOWEVER, due to volume and specially reduced discounts, all SALE items bought on EARTH DAY, BLACK FRIDAY, OR BOXING DAY are FINAL sale and cannot be returned or refunded. Section D will not apply to items sold on these days.
F. WARRANTIES AND DEFECTS
All our products come from excellent manufacturers. Please contact them directly for any defects or warranty. If you are not satisfied with the products, same process applies. Please contact the manufacturer directly. If you don't know who to contact, email us and we will do our best to direct you. 
G. LOST/DAMAGED PACKAGES
a) LETTERMAIL: Please note that this option has no tracking or insurance. Unicorn Baby provides a photo of your package at the post office before it is sent off to you so you can see what to expect to receive. The photo is the tracking that Unicorn Baby provides. You have the option to include a tracking number. However, you will be responsible for paying tracking fees. Please indicate or add this note when checking out. Otherwise we assume you don't require a tracking number. You accept the risk of this shipment type and Unicorn Baby is not liable for lost, damaged or undelivered Lettermail.
b) PARCELS / BOXES: This shipping option has a tracking number and can be traced from the sender (Unicorn Baby) to the receiver (client). If by any chance, a package has not reached the receiver and is deemed lost, Unicorn Baby will open a claim file with the shipping company (e.g. Canada Post, UPS, etc.). A refund or a store credit will be issued ONLY at the end of the investigation process. See terms for refunds in Section D. The receiver (client) is to cooperate timely in the process of investigating the lost package through email and/or phone calls with the shipping company and Unicorn Baby or NO REFUND will be issued. Please be advised that this process may take an unlimited amount of time based on the shipping company's lost/damaged package claim process.
Unicorn Baby reserves the right to check your identity when claims for lost/damaged packages are made. We will require a copy of a government-issued ID such as driver's license or passport. Your ID name and address must match the client contact information you have provided when placing the order in our site. Failure to provide proof of your identity, discrepancies or unmatched information will automatically void your claim. This will result in NO refund as we cannot check the authenticity of your identity and deem your activity as fraud.
H. CLIENT CONTACT INFORMATION
All Shipping Address and Billing Address information must include the following:
a) Full name
b) Address including unit #, street name, city, postal code
c) Phone number (must be an active phone number so we can contact you during order processing if needed)
d) Email address
Please note that if your package cannot be delivered or result in being lost due to the absence or discrepancy of any of the following above, Unicorn Baby is NOT liable or cannot be held responsible. No Refunds will be issued.
